Excellence Team-Building Training Programs

A team is a concept and a term we use almost daily in our lives.

A team is formed by two or more individuals who develop relationships with one another, work toward shared goals, and recognize that they belong to the same group.

For example, a team may consist of the workers in a company’s production department, the sales staff, or the administrative personnel. However, a group of cinema viewers or passengers on a ferry does not constitute a team, as they do not meet the criteria that define one.

Teams can be formal or informal.
A formal team is created consciously by management for the purpose of achieving specific tasks. It is granted officially defined authority and assigned responsibilities to accomplish a particular outcome. Departments and sub-departments within a company are typical examples of formal teams.

In contrast, informal teams are not created by organizational decision-making. They are formed naturally among employees who share common goals, often related to the fulfillment of personal needs (e.g., groups of friends, cliques). The role of informal teams is equally important to that of formal ones for the effective functioning of the organization.

We provide training programs designed to develop more effective and high-performing teams—both in the classroom and outdoors—through exercises and activities that enhance teamwork and collaboration across all teams within your organization.
