Kalliopi Oikonomopoulou was born in Chicago, USA, and grew up and studied in Greece. She began her studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which she holds a Pharmacy degree as well as a diploma in Business Administration. She continued her education at the Hellenic American University, where she earned her MBA with a specialization in Human Resources, and at Kingstown University in Ireland, where she obtained an Advanced Diploma in Executive and Business Coaching. She continues her professional development by attending Psychology seminars at the University of the Aegean and by keeping up to date with international Coaching trends (Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield).
She began her professional career in the pharmacy sector, where she had the opportunity to apply her health-related knowledge and become familiar with the retail and specialized sales environment. In 2007, she transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry and spent a decade working for a major multinational pharmaceutical company (Novartis). She started as a Scientific Associate and very soon advanced to a managerial role. During her time at the company, she held various Sales Manager positions across different therapeutic categories and hierarchical levels. She was selected, evaluated, and internally trained to become the company’s sole Coach & Mentor for all managerial executives.
In 2012, while participating in a Management training program in Munich, she came into contact for the first time with Coaching and its benefits for both individuals and organizations. This experience prompted her to explore ways to study the field and eventually leverage it as a tool for the development of her teams and others within the company. To deepen her expertise, she has attended and applied over the years various specialized training programs, including: Train the Trainer, Benchmarking, 8 Skill Coaching, Resilience, Sales Skills Development, Leadership Skills Development (I & II), Leading at the Frontline (I & II), Leadership Skills, Negotiation Skills, Communication Skills, Project Management, Time Management, and Mindfulness Coaching.
In 2016, she left the company to work as a freelance Coach and Trainer, while also establishing her own pharmacy. She has collaborated with companies in Greece and the United Kingdom to deliver successful training programs for staff in major Greek and multinational organizations (such as National Bank of Greece, GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer, Astellas, Johnson & Johnson, BMS). She has also organized and delivered open public seminars on Business topics (Sales, Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring).
She enjoys working with people, supporting and inspiring them to become the best version of themselves by developing their skills and strengths. Respect for her collaborators, active listening, perceptiveness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and perseverance are some of the qualities that characterize her professional approach.
